According to Asre Khodro based on this report, fuel system in accordance with Euro 4 standard has caused a decrease of 10 to 15 percent in fuel consumption of vehicles which with traversal calculation of 20 thousand kilometer per year and 14 million cars trafficking in the country, we can save at least 280 million liters of gasoline consumption each year.

This report continues: the plans for producing engines according to Euro 4 standards has been made and from the beginning of March this year with entering the national engine made by Iran Khodro and increase of using TE5 engine, the engine section of the vehicles will meet the Euro 4 standards.

The next section is fueling system that consist of two parts: Emission (fuel steams and so on which exhalent out of the car before reaching the combustion chamber), and Exhaust (pollutants coming out the car through the exhaust system). At the present time the emission part is made in Arvand Plastic entirely but exhaust system is still being imported.
