Based on Asrekhodro news agency’s report quoting ISNA, the list has been published in the month of Shahrivar (September) and that was included 85 models. Later due to the registration delay for some of them plus adding Benz and Porches models to the list it now indicates 72 models that are known as authorized vehicles to import. 

The unauthorized model due to the new list is as follow:

Comparison of the current list with the one that was in the month of Shahrivar (six monthsearlier) indicates that we have no longer import permission for 35 models now. In this unauthorized list there are some Benz and Porches Models as well.

In accordance with the announcement of deputy director of the import and export regulation office and commerce development organization reported by ISNA :orders’ registration for import vehicles is ongoing with absolute consideration of regulations, with no major restriction. Hence, as it was in the past, import of any kind of either heavy or sedan vehicles is in progress. 

SasanKhodaee with regards to the list of available and authorized models said: such a model that meetsthe requiredlicenses and technical regulation (which can be found through the website, www.sabtaresh.tpo.ir) can easily be imported by the qualify importers, those who have the general condition for such kind of activity. 

He further added, in terms of contract, there are some representations whosepre-determined deadline is now ended; however, with correspondence to the mentioned agencies, this problem is about to be solved within the next couple of days. 

Although what this official said confirms the orders’ registration termination in some cases, he promises to resolve the problem and to restart this economic activity.
