The reason of Tondar90’ face-lift was buyers vote taking results and their dissatisfaction especially the design of this car’s rear body side that made Saipa to start the project of changing the look and new design for Tondar90.

Generally the face-lift project whichestablishes general or particular changes in design and presents new options (i.e. its engine or its outer/inner design), sends a changed model of the car to the markets.

The new face-lift of Tondar90, from the accompanying new options point of view, is not so different from current E2 model of Tondar90 and changes are mainly made in the body of the car, mostly in the rear parts.

Considering the fact that mass production of each foreign car that is produced in Iran with the original brands needs the original producer’s permission in order to make any changes in engine or body, the new face-lift of Tondar90 has been in the process of obtaining permission in the last few months.

Saipa has decided to present the new Tondar90 with the equal price level of its E2 model – about 16 million toomans – to the market.

According to the incoming info, with Renault’s final permission the first prototype of this car will enter the market no later than the end of this year.

IK industrial group has also produced a face-lift model of Tondar90 and is about to obtain warrant for mass production.
