The Deputy of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Commerce added: vehicle’s imports through either individuals or legal persons must meet the 4 must-have regulations, these criteria are as follows: the vehicle should be brand-new, there should be available after-sale services in our country, terms of fuel consumption efficiency, and the 51 standards items that are specified by the environmental organization.

He specified that,heretofore it was approved by the government that vehicle import should be only from the origin country; however, at the present time it is also possible to register the orders through other bases.

Safdel mentioned: According to such new regulation and simplification the process, we have witnessed a noticeableincrease invehicles’ order ofregistration, and this might have a positive impact on the local markets as well.

He continued, this requisition now is in the process of expertise’s confirmation in the import and export regulation office due to which a confirmation on the first article of the existing contract,that will revolutionize the vehicles’ import to the country.

According to this official, by such amendments there will be a very positive impact in order toreplace the fossil fuel to the new generation of fuel;moreover safer ones. Therefore, the possibility of reconsidering the current rate of tariffs is very high.
