Dealer’s New Market
Mehdi Asadi- while the cold weather has made its impact on the vehicles’ market, sometimes we see unbelievable prices in the newspaper’s advertisements.
An unfair market’s opportunity will benefit the dealers to acquire more money from customer, mostly inexperienced young people. The reason why we have such an atmosphere in the vehicles’ market is yet to be known. Here is how the story goes: the vehicle’s owner who has the last generation of a specific models, expect to sell their vehicle as expensive as possible and sometimes blow the costumer’s head with the prices. Beginning of such circumstances goes back to the time when, Peugeot 405 200 cc production has been terminated. We have experienced the same condition with Daewoo CLO and Korean’s Pride once more. Back then these mentioned models have been sold over one million Toman more expensive than the real value. This wrong procedure is still being seen and vehicles like Mazda 3 (the previous model) or 206 (the last France automatic one) are belong to this group. However they wouldn’t be the last, in the near future the others products such as Rio will be ends up with the same destiny. Rio due to its technical issues beside the air bags problem that Kia(manufacture company) refused to install air bags, is going to be discontinuing in our country very soon. Therefore, what are left are the pre-fabricated ones whose prices will probably increase at least few hundred thousand Tomans as a result of the discontinuation. It is not finished yet; not only will the pre-fabricated models’ prices increase but also the last remaining models in the manufactory company will experience the undesired price’s increase, too. Such an event can only help the dealers earning more money out of this chaos. 26 Saturday November 2011 18:22
